Aindo as Data Processor
Under Article 28 of the GDPR, Aindo acts as a Data Processor on behalf of its clients, the Data Controllers.
As a Data Processor, Aindo:
- Never stores or transfers client data to the cloud.
- Accesses data only when strictly necessary.
- Supports full compliance with data subject rights.
- Ensures GDPR-aligned procedures and logging.
Aindo plays a crucial role in helping its clients manage personal data securely and responsibly. Our software platform is designed to run on-premise, directly on the Data Controller’s infrastructure. This setup ensures that all data remains entirely under the Controller’s custody, significantly minimizing the risk of unauthorized access and cloud-related vulnerabilities.
Aindo’s core technology enables the generation of synthetic data: artificially created data that statistically resembles real-world datasets but does not contain information about identifiable individuals. This allows organisations to analyse and share insights without compromising privacy.
Aindo staff do not access client data during normal operations. In rare cases where specific technical assistance is requested, access is granted only under strict protocols that ensure it is temporary, controlled, and limited strictly to what is necessary to resolve the issue. All interventions are logged, advanced security measures are in place, and all staff receive ongoing training in data protection and confidentiality.
Aindo is committed to supporting Data Controllers in ensuring that the rights of data subjects are respected in full alignment with the GDPR. These rights include:
- The right to access and confirm whether their data is being processed
- The right to rectify inaccurate data
- The right to request erasure or restriction under certain conditions
- The right to data portability
- The right to object to data processing on grounds related to their situation
We work closely with our clients to ensure that data subject requests are handled in a timely and effective manner, in full compliance with the provisions of the GDPR. This support includes providing tools and features within the software to facilitate the management of data subject rights, as well as assistance in responding to requests and documenting actions.
At Aindo, we are committed to maintaining high standards of security and compliance, protecting user data and supporting Data Controllers in compliance with current data protection regulations.
